Why do other smartphones not come with the option of a built in data bundle like they have with the iPhone?

Those phones are likely to use just as much data. MTN and Vodacom dont bundle them with data - they should add this in. Could give the network that offers it an edge over the other in terms of drawing new customer to them.

But they do!

Remember MTN giving a whopping 10mb bundle with the E63 recently!!!

You must create your own bundle.

I asked the local Vodashop if they can offer me an iPhone package with a Samsung Galaxy S, but not available.

So, I picked something similar to my current iPhone package - 100 SMS, 120 MIN, per second billing & 300MB data - comes to +- R479. My iPhone package is R450 a month, but get 250MB data instead of 300MB.

I could make my own bundle after, but when its include as part of the contract, you get it at a much cheaper rate.
