A little late in getting here this time to start the thread:o.

Vettel looking strong in the practice sessions. Qualifying on at the moment.

Edit: Qualifying delayed by 30 minutes because of the heavy rain.

Redbull is king of the flexi wing again with 1 second seperating them and the nearest competitor... seems they have found a way around the rules again. Have to hand it to them - they have been clever with their design this year. And the number of times they have been one and even two seconds ahead of the rest of the best this year - if this championship isn't in the bag for them, they have no-one but themselves to blame.

Two seconds faster? Niggah please

Funny ross brawn talking about bending the rules when they did it last year, in my opinion there are always bitter people in F1 who find excuses why their cars are piss poor.
Mercedes should look within their team as too why they suck.

Hungary. Fastest lap of Redbull was 1 second faster than Ferrari and 2 seconds faster than McLaren.

That could be tyre wear, who is saving fuel, who is pushing. You judge that surely by quali and i have never seen redbull 2 seconds clear of anyone is qualifying.

Hamilton retired and button was caught in traffic. Vettel more than likely put that lap in with next to no fuel in the car, while alonso was just chilling saving fuel. Granted redbull were strong there but not 2 seconds strong.

I would assume tyre wear relates to car speed???
Button was not caught in traffic the whole race long, whatever the cause, they outpaced their nearest rivals by 1 and 2 seconds. Simple.
Ferrari were 1.2 seconds behind Red Bull in quali - was Alonso saving fuel?
Hamilton was 1.7 seconds behind in quali. Now when I said 2 seconds I wasn't referring to EXACTLY 2 seconds. 1.7 is as near as dammit ;)
Button was lapped by Webber in the race... That's not traffic.

Like I said, Red Bull have themselves to blame if they don't win this year. They already have themselves to blame for not walking it. Even the 40 year old Schumi in a Red Bull would have seen to it that it's over by now.

Yeah was a hectic start!! And the only real overtaking was done by a homeboy :)
I think it was kindof assumed - bar retirements - that it would be a RBR 1 - 2. Their advantage was too great. I'm interested to see how the Korean GP goes... I'm a Ferrari fanboi through and through, so I hope Alonso claws his way up, but it will be interesting to see how the respective teams perform on an unknown track...
