I have just upgraded from an iBurst USB Modem to a iBurst Desktop Modem. I want to add a wireless router to it so that my other PC's can access the iBurst wirelessly. Can I use any wireless router? I have a Wireless ADSL router which I am not using. Can I use that, and just put my iBusrt username and password in the PPOE section? Or does it need to be a different type of wireless router?

Does your router have a WAN port ?? if yes then just setup a PPOE connection in your router and connect the modem with network via the WAN port.

OK, so if I have a Wireless ADSL router, and the WAN port is not ethernet, then it is not going to work?

:wtf: ?? you confused yourself.

Plug a network cable into the WAN port of the router and the other side into the iBurst Unit. Configure PPOE in the router.... bob's your aunt..

EDIT: what model of router do you have ?

My router has a RJ11 WAN port, not a RJ45 WAN port. So I suspect I will need the correct router.
