Just saw a new update available for the unit. Thought it might be a good idea to start a support thread for WD TV Live HD users. If you find new firmware updates, tips/tricks or questions post it here.

Quite keen on USB keyboard support, will probably test it tonight.

Updated the firmware last night /went without a hitch.
USB keyboard does work.

well it might be handy when using the search function as well as the web applications. Probably wont be using it to much though /need a wireless keyboard...

WD Live Remote app on App Store if you have an iPhone.
Nice for searching youtube vids

New firmware available guys-> Latest Firmware: Release 1.04.17 (12/30/10)

/doesn't seem to add anything major though.

Still not resolved in klast sw update:

WiFi issues - not connecting everytime
Wifi issues - poor playback that gets stuck
Software issues - still one of the poorest/most frustrating user interfaces around.

My WiFi connects every time.
Poor playback probably has to do with the speed of the wireless network.

going to stick with the custom fm using atm since I don't see any issues with what I have been playing.

might soon build up a NAS which will be networked with the WDTV and hopefully will have a better experience with it.
