I've got it! I feel your pain, my ADSL often cuts out with long downloads. I can burn you a copy man, but as a tip, try downloading it via torrent. That never ever fails.

Are you downloading via wifi or lan connection to your adsl??

Try a lan connection when updating.

If you download through Software Update it usually continues where it stoped even if the connection have failed.

Ps. all you need to do is NOT LEAVE Software Update before whole download complete.
