PC Prankster
Guaranteed to provide literally minutes of indescribable fun for the bored office worker, before they are fired and tossed out on the street. The PC Prankster USB stick is plugged into a victims PC whilst they aren’t looking (obviously) and features a time delay function that allows the prankster to stealthily slip away.
Having returned to the desktop, the unsuspecting co-worker will be assailed with random mouse movements, erratic Caps Lock behaviour, and garbled or random text phrases. Your boss will love it.
Mirror of Emotions Rationaliser
Clearly, human beings need help with conveying their emotional state. Otherwise, why would need all those emoticons? Research has shown that stock market investors are most in need of emotional assistance, having their rational state of mind affected by such ugly emotions as fear, greed, and suicidal intent.
Philips Design has stepped up to ease the burden of all troubled home-bound stock investors, with the EmoBraclet and EmoBowl. The EmoBraclet is worn around the wrist and measures the “arousal component of the user’s emotion through a galvanic skin response sensor.”
The EmoBowl then receives the signal wirelessly, and will display a range of colours from yellow to orange to red. When the bowl is flashing red it’s the signal to take a break before a potentially bad decision is made. The economic depression could have been avoided so easily.
The Perfect Cuppa’
Brewing tea is an art, but KitchenContraptions is intent on turning it into a science. Their Programmable Tea Thermometer/Timer takes all of the guesswork out of the steeping process. 18 types of loose, ball or bagged teas are pre-programmed, or the device can be user-programmed for infinite tea brewing precision. An alarm is included to let one know when their beverage is at the desired flavour peak.
Bluetooth GPS shoes
It’s here – what we’ve all been waiting for. Shoes fitted with GPS and Bluetooth connectivity. The idea is to link ones shoes to their cellphone via Bluetooth, and never be lost again. Also good for making sure Grandma doesn’t disappear from the nursing home again.
