If you are a heavy bloke like me who knows that the only way to optimal weight lies in good nutrition, a bicycle seat and a swimming pool then you would also know what a mountain two of those elements can be. Swimming is no problem. Swimming isn’t much of an issue apart from getting to a big pool because I am a good swimmer. The problem comes in with the food. For that I am going to see a dietitian. That should deal with the problem and if need be a shrink will have to be called in to assist. I am a procrastinator, so the shrink will have to deal with that once I manage to stop procrastinating enough to visit one.

The other mountain that needs conquering is the bike. Not the bike so much as the seat of the bike. I hate bicycle seats! I absolutely detest them because you have to already be as light as a feather not to go numb at first and later feel ultra discomfort on the bicycle seats of today. How can anybody look forward to hours on these tiny seats?

It was a matter of time before somebody came up with a better idea and it seems like there is hope on the horizon. In come the guys at Moon Saddle. They designed a seat that can save many a man the indignity of sacrificing his future offspring in the name of looking good. What they did was very simple; they cut off the front bit of the seat that usually forced you to rest your entire body on your private parts and widened the seated area for that bit of your body actually designed to be seated upon. Simple! Now you are left with a moon shaped saddle on which to rest your bottom with everything free to dangle that is required by Mother Nature to dangle freely.

As with any seemingly solid invention it will take time for it to be adopted, but I am sure it won’t be too long as many a cyclist will see the reason behind this design.

If only they could package fitness in a bottle. Now wouldn’t that be great!?!?
