interesting that nobody has suggested Lord Of The Rings Online... really enjoying it quite a bit, and it is F2P. The bandwidth usage is not too high (except for the 10GB client download)... quite fun all in all...

afaik to play lotro you need only to download the installer from doGaming which is around 2GB.

I second Runes of Magic, it is very much like WoW but as they say it is free. Been playing it for the last month or so and still enjoying it, not everyones cup of tea but for the price you can't complain 
Just wish there weren't so many people running around in their skivies though...kinda hard to explain that part to people though >.>
