anybody used myUS.com want to import the ipad 2

this looks like best option to import the ipad 2. has anyone used this service b4? how was it are they for real?
 
They are great! I've used them for iPad accessories. A friend brought in his Nexus with them and I will definitely use them for my iPad 2.
 
Anybody in Jhb/Pta area with a myUS.com account (used before) planning to get an iPad 2? Maybe a few of us can club together and get it in one shipment?

Thats a very good idea......... i want the 16gb wifi&3g white ! can get a central person to do the order and pay the monies and collect from him once delivered. but who would like to handle that task with an existing myUS account?

the exchange rate is very good at the moment last i checked the rand was R6.88 to the dollar. So its the right time to import.

Im game if anybody else wants to join!!!
 
I'm gonna give it a month ... with Core dropping the iPAD 1 prices, I think a local ver 2 release is not too far away.
 
I have used myus and it works like a bomb!! they are on the ball, give you feedback the whole time and its safe and secure! The parcel arrived, and was shipped out the next day. I can recommend them to anyone!!
 
Ok guys i am currently all the way in Malaysia and i would like to know if it is possible to use myus.com to deliver the iPad 2in Malaysia? Also will it work when i get back to SA since im only going to be here for a few months?
 
Yes it works anywhere. You can get MYUs to ship anywhere.

I would also love to get an iPad 2 this way.

I've heard that before but I'm not sure I buy that. I've had a couple of warranty repairs done on Apple products I've purchased overseas and all I've ever been asked to produce is the proof of purchase to prove to core that it wasn't a grey product. I'm not even sure how legitimate a request like that is.

If anyone wants to get together to order some stuff, I'm game... and I have a myus premium account.... i'm ordering some stuff anyway, and usually the larger the parcel the lower the shipping cost per item.

How exactly does proof of purchase prove that it wasn't a gray product? My statement is based on a comment from another forum where I was disputing Core's markup.
