Do the normal update in iTunes or get it using one of these links:

(iPhone4 is mentioned in the URL but the f/w filenames reflect iPad, where applicable, so I only assuming they are correct)

Note: the info above is from my own downloads so may not be 100% accurate, I think it is all correct though. Please post a reply if you suspect something is incorrect.
There is no iOS 4.3 for the iPhone 3G, so seems 4.2.1 is the last for that generation device, which was kinda known

Now, when's iOS 5 coming out? :D (apparently we'll hear about it in early April)

How about hotspot creation for the ipad.Sux that you have to use jailbroken devices to get that functionality.

Any news on it working with MTN / Vodacom for 3 (or 5) devices sharing Wifi?

I really hope that the personal hotspot isn't carrier limited like the first internet connection sharing was.

Strange. mine is not. Did cold restart and all

What APN are you using ? and where was the hotspot located ?

Hotspot works perfectly on mine. Not jailbroken, using MTN. Geez, speed faster than 4MB ADSL :)

Safari does seem snappier but that's about all I've noticed on my iPad.

New versions of Safari for mac and iTunes too.
Busy updating and can't wait to get the orientation lock button back.
Looks like 4.3 uses a new size for storing images. The space taken up by my photos has increased. Anyone else notice this?

Just synced and the space allotted to images went up by 3x.

Interesting, when you use APN "internet" then personal hotspot doesnt work, but with "iphone.vodacom.za" it works.... so only works with iphone data bundles.

EDIT: I hadn't yet activated the iPhone APN with vodacom... Hotspot working now :)

Home sharing working? Mine turns on, but doesnt seem to pick up my shared library...

EDIT: Just had to click "Turn on Home Sharing" in iTunes "Advanced" menu... duh.

How is home sharing any different to apples Remote application???

Other than for movies or tv shows which surely could've just been implemented in the Remote application?

And what's personal hotspot other than a new form of tethering?

Apple always bring in these "new" features that are actually old. Same thing when they introduced multitasking and made a big deal out of nothing really.
