I know it's pale in comparison to the uncapped 4mbps mweb deal but it's alot better than 128kbps :(

Your with cell c how would u know?

Correctly noted. He meant 512k all 24 hours, not just 8 hours.
Discussion long ago, suggested that there is no point in full hours uncapped 512k offer.

i could find a point for this. Start up my PC in the morning, get my "distro" torrents lined up, and head out to work. Maybe I'd never turn it off. And 512k. I'd buy that actually.

Those torrents would kill the network! Think of it like a hub where only one person can "talk" at a time. The more one person talks the less others can... Uncapped on wireless networks is very much a dream and torrents will always be shaped to nothing, due to the noise it creates...

How long before the copper is stolen?

This is the first time they are laying copper in my area so don't know.

They are still busy at the box which is about 50m from my house.

My biggest concern with any new offerings from iBurst is how it will affect people that either took out new contracts or upgraded before the introductions. I can remember the confusion when iBurst moved from the Giga packages to the Wireless packages and started charging for the uncapped service which was free before.

Yes, and that was a hard lesson. Thanks Jannie.

We are much wiser now when introducing new benefits, e.g. mid month topup.

The gamers might agree but I'd be happy if it was a high cap solution enough to get what you need but not so much that people go crazy downloading and redownloading crap they don't need while screwing over others...

Yes, I agree. Currently, the 10GB is enough (kinda), but lower prices and better speeds, coupled with better pings would be great.

I personally hope the VAS prices come down....

Agree but 64k/128k VAS is completely useless for browsing, only the insanely patient or just plain insane can browse on those speeds. VAS is only good for after hour downloads.

got burst here speeds are awesome however pricing not need an uncapped solution

I can game online with my 128k VAS so its good enough for me :D
