Does anyone keep fit without going to gym here?

At the moment I am doing pushups and situps and I am going to try start running in the mornings, will this help me?

Of course it will help, presuming you can motivate yourself.

I, for one, cannot motivate myself, which is why I keep losing sight of my penis.

Hahaha my problem is the opposite, which I suppose makes me lucky; but I don't like being so skinny, and I need to get fit cause it's good for me.

I will do the same as you. Yes it should help. Give it a month or so.

True, motivation is key! Many people pay thousands annually to stay away from gym. :) If you can manage to keep it up through winter then it'll be a breeze in summer. All the best...

Always tell friends: gym's not for everyone! :) Do something you "enjoy"... As long as you keep ACTIVE!

Mens health has an issue on what you should eat to gain weight, will post it here if you want.

Pooky, me and my housemate have recently started the one hundred pushups program. It takes only a few minutes three times a week, and I promise you if you follow the program you will see not only impressive results, but will be amazed at how weak you actually are :)

Ive tried gym a number of times but honestly, I cant be bothered. Its expensive, too many "kief" okes, sweaty equipment...and did I mention im too lazy?

The first time I went to gym I kept it up for 2 months. I then got dumbbells and trained at home for 6 months until I got bored of that.

2 years later, I tried to pick up gym and again, and after 2 months Ive given up. Ill rather train at home. Its more enjoyable. Might as well give the 100 push ups thing a go.

I'm currently doing week 5 for the second time of the pushup program - hopefully will be able to graduate to week 6.

It is one hell of a program :)

I gym at home - Game has one of those 6 in 1 jobs if you have space.
Boxing Bag and Gloves also nice, hang it in the garage and moer the kak out of it everyday for 20min - 3min bouts'

Google the 300 hundred program and then apply it to your available equipment, try this 3 times a week if you just want to tighten up etc.
Although when I started the above program I had to make it the 150 hundred program :)

^^ Korn1's right, its 80% chowing right. If you're skinny, then its chowing LOTS and LOTS of the right stuff, then keeping to a program so it doesn't all turn to fat.
Your pushups, running will be fine. If you can add pullups that'll help too.

I set up a home gym. bought almost everything I need from a guy on gumtree, i takes up a lot of space, Iv set it up in my lapa.

I use it 6 days a week. Its so much more enjoyable than a big public gym. I can play my own music and flex in the mirror whenever I want without worrying about people laughing at me LOL!

Cost about R6000 to set up.
