Internet access in Farmall

My fellow MyBB members,

A friend of mine stays in Farmall, more specifically between Chartwell and Kyasands.
He has been using a well known WISP for sometime now, and they informed him yesterday that they will not be able to provide him service anymore. The reason is that they moved their tower to provide better coverage to their subscribers, but as is the case he lost connection.

Does anyone know of any WISP that are in the area. He works from home and does anythig from 10 to 20 GB of data per month. This is rather urgent.

i live in chartwell, and i wish i could get adsl, but we told that the lines keep getting stolen, and telkom will not be replacing them :(
 
Contact me via PM. Have a solution for those areas where there is no wireless, 3 G or ADSL.

I stay in the same area for the past 5 years, moving between Chartwell, Chartwell North and Inadan, always used iBurst and it worked fine.

Last month I went over to 8TA with the promotion they are offering, I get 80% signal strength and downloads speeds of close to 6Mbps all the time, maybe worth while to look at the coverage map on the 8TA webpage and see what coverage is like in Farmall.

My friend settled on Cell C and also looking at getting a 8ta package. It does cause a bit of issues with having to monitor the usage continiously and swoppoing accounts as needed, but seems to be working fine.
