Best valet/detailing in Joburg

I think it's time my car gets some TLC in terms of an extensive clean, polish, steam clean etc. Any recommendations on where to get this done well in Joburg? Also, anyone have any experience on paint glazing - I have some minor scratches in my paintwork that I'm looking to get removed if possible.
 
i wonder if some car dealerships might point you in the right direction. u know exclusive cars and the likes of bentley, lambo etc. they prolly use good ppl.

Agreed, that's the route I would go. I knew of a couple of guys to use when I still lived in Joburg, but they probably don't even exist any more.
 
get hold of carn from mobile image or onyx (will/can get you his details later) if you want detailing done
its completely different from a valet

Glazing just covers/fills the scratches and lasts a few months. Rather get the paint corrected by someone like the above 2.

What do they do that's different to painting? Is it a permanent removal of swirls etc?

So yes it's permanent in that those marks etc are gone, but the car should be properly maintained after that to keep it looking tops. This involves NOT taking it to the local car wash where they will most like take a dirty rag and rub it over the entire car...

The other day at a VW dealership I saw a cleaning lady take her cloth and her bottle of sunlight and water and proceed to clean a car on the floor....! :( Also wiped like under the wheel arches then on the bonnet etc...
 
cant help with car valet...but let me know if you keen on expert car detailing.
it costs significantly more, but its worth it.
I have a portfolio of references I can send you to show you some of the cars i've prepared.
