SMS Spam

Anyone know how I can go about finding out who is sending me SMS spam? I used to receive maybe on or two spam messages every few months, but then I stupidly replied STOP to one, and it seems that the spam has only increased since then. It is always from funny numbers as well, like:

0785754944
+27836499768
+27833906731043
0741083207

Is it possible that they just sell/give your details to the next spamming company when you reply STOP? Should I rather just ignore them completely?
And how can I possibly make sure that my details are removed from their database, when I cannot even find out who is sending these messages.

Yep, I came across this site as well, but none of the numbers I enter can be found.

block all those numbers,kaspersky mobile lab do that pretty well

"Subscribe" those numbers to Go Go Mobile. They won't get billed, it seems, but it will keep them occupied trying desperately to unsubscribe or reach Go Go Mobile.
