SMS Porn advert gets a rise from consumer

I don't have an issue with the porn... just those damn adverts...wish they'd be banned for good.
 
I just canned myself. Gotta love prudes. I'm quite sure the movie does not deal with washing powder either, thus an OMO commercial would have been equally inappropriate.
 
Hang on a minute, since when do we restrict adverts to only have context with the programs in which they appear??
 
who actually uses those services? the porn is overpriced and probably softcore..... i will stick to the interwebs with its free unlimited supply of every sort of porn that can be imagined (except albino porn)

I'm more offended by the graphic images on the SABC news! Why are people so squeamish about sex? It's normal and it's natural.

A woman is pregnant through out the movie, though the father of the baby is never stated. Like with all of Woody Allens movies there is some sexual dialogue, but like with the rest it isn't graphic.

unless of course Woody Allens name counts towards that rating

Sorry, haven't watched anything on regular TV in years, and I avoid adverts on TV like the plague! :p

But yeah, I agree with those who say those adverts must be a pain in the neck and offering a product that is over priced and under developed.
 
I think everyone does have to agree that the adverts during the "porn" are generally more hardcore than the "porn" itself...

Edit: oh yes, why do they call it soft pron? 'cos it doesn't get you hard :p

I think a part of the problem is that those ads pop up during random shows. Imagine having a movie night with your family and you switch back to normal TV, where you don't expect to see porn. It's worse than watching a normal movie with a sex scene in it while your parents are in the same room.

+1.. It's like as soon as the movie has sex or nudity in it etv will show those ads and half the time the premise of the movie is not sexually charged or as said above the moaning and images shown are more explicit than the content of the movie. It's like if they show 'when harry met sally' they would show the ads when it airs as a repeat late night even though the movie has at most sexual language, fake moans at a table and a bed shot of naked shoulders. I mean if this happens when watching something like 'Basic Instinct' type movies i don't think people have much to whine about.

+1 nothing worse than waking up passed out on the couch in front of tv with the ads loudly moaning.


I think the case being upheld is going to annoy etv as it opens up a can of worms where additional instances will be referred.

I hate those adverts like its going out of fashion, I mean not to mention that they are complete ripoffs, who pays R10 + a day to keep them going?
