Stupid is as stupid does.

A man died after he drank a brew prepared by a traditional healer in Nancefield, Limpopo police said on Monday.

Lieutenant Peter Mudau said the traditional healer had cut up aloe leaves and boiled them in water.

He said the man, who was there with his friend, watched the healer drink a cup of the concoction, before they did the same.

The three men were taken to hospital when they complained of stomach cramps and feeling dizzy and weak.

Mudau said the man died on his way to the Musina Hospital.

The traditional healer and the other man received medical treatment at the hospital.

The deceased and his friend had consulted the healer to get something that would cleanse their kidneys and enhance their sexual performance, Mudau said.

No arrests were made.

Well i cannot say i am upset, it would be nice if this happened way more often.

They might actually get it then. 20-30 deaths a month might send a message.

No ways bru this is a sangoma, if the man died the spirits or whatever they call it wanted it that way. The ancestors have spoken!!!!!!

But the sangoma got sick too, that must mean the ancestors were super pissed off. Or maybe he did the spell wrong? Added one to many eyes of newt, or forgot to add the puppy dog's tail at the right moment? These formulas are very precise you know....

I read, "man dies from sangoma's sex position" :o

Hahahaha, so did I :o

How can no arrests have been made? This man died as a direct result of this Sangoma's actions.

There is prob. something in the law protecting these "docs" as they are not trained "health care" professionals.

I would also like to see these guys getting the back lash of there actions.

You make a claim that you can cure something or do something for someone and then not only fail to do it but injure them in the process then you've put yourself up to a level of competence that you cannot rightly lay claim to.

Even if you're not a doctor for example if you claim you can help someone but don't actually have the required skill to help them, then your help results in further injury then you're in a heck of a lot of trouble.
