I got the original license key on my laptop and the recovery on partition not working.

Where can I download the image of win 7 pro 64bit ?

Here is a link...

Downloading these ISO images from Digital River is legal and free of charge. Downloaded ISO images will be of virus and malware free as Digital River is official Download Channel. However you need to purchase a license key to activate Windows 7 after using for 30 days. We’re not sure by using command “ slmgr -rearm” you can use evaluation copy further for 120 days.

Just thought of this, I have a legit copy of Win7, would it be legal to let someone else install it w/o the licence key? Say they bought, or acquired by other means, their own key?

Don't read EULAs, so not sure if it's there.

No harm as u just using the cd and Ur own cd key
 
Actually, Windows 7 DVDs are clever.

Unless I'm wrong, that ISO will work with any key. It will even install a Windows 7 Home if you give it a Home version key.

I used that image to install a Microsoft Action Pack key.

I think the only exception is the ultimate version.

Slow downloads, try http://burnbit.com/. It will take any http url file and turn it into a torrent. I just used it to download 32 bit ISO and got reasonable speeds. .
 
If you upgrade then its free. You just install it from within windows. But there is a legal hack to do a upgrade with a clean install. Just google it
