700,000 new Android devices activated each day

Amazing but not unexpected android is really great . the amount of apps available is great. had a windows smart phone before :wtf:.
My galaxy S2 is such a pleasure to use cant wait for ice cream sandwich ( not gonna root )
 
I have a feeling that there must be custom rom "activations" in that number

There is just no way that number makes sense, even if we look at 500 000 for this year that would mean 182500000 phones got activated world wide.

That number is simply to large esp if I look at how many of the 7 billion people on this planet can afford smart phones.

Some people own 2 or 3 phones though. One guy at work has 3 android phones, 2 for his different works and 1 for personal use.
 
I just been in china ,,every mother and his brother has a smart phone there ,,they so busy on them on the subway and in the streets while walking .smart phones are the new thing in china every one wants one

Same here I have 3 phones + a tablet, Wildfire, DHD and a Xperia Play but I am a developer and esp when I look at the numbers in the app store (Apps installed it just does not make sense)
