Tatooine-like planet discovered by Kepler

I was hoping it would be a an Endor like planet. Then we could sort out the Chewbacca Defense once and for all. :)

Completely! Not to divulge my geek side, but the ewoks inhabit one of the moons of Endor and the wookies (not the chewbaccas) inhabit Kashyyyk.

And your Southpark... Don't know if anyone clicked on the "Read the full story at: Ars Technica." link but, considering vinodh's post, this bit made me laugh:

Nope, we're still prioritising them by fairytales. True story.

Ever heard of the "Goldilocks zone" ? Planets which are not too hot or not too cold on the surface and pretty much juuuust right for sustaining life. :)
