Article: Russia to sell combat jets to Syria

So a few trainer jets. Useful against insurgents, harmless against any Western airforce
 
I honestly *still* do not understand why there are even things like 'combat jets' and other expensive (and rather pointless imo) military objects around. If we (as humans) were fighting off OTHER species from trying to invade our planet then yeah sure it makes sense.

A bunch of humans flying around killing each and f.cking-up chunks of the planet while doing so... stupid imo.
