After reading only negative forum postings about Vodacom I wish share my 16 years of customer experiences with Vodacom with you. I have had my fair share of problems over this period with Vodacom but I have resolved all them in an amicable manner, in hindsight can only but thank Vodacom for the wonderful service over this period.
If think back to the era of Vodacom with Mr Jesuub and Mr Knott-Craig then resolving problems was always accompanied by a painful process, since Mr Uys took over at the helm I must confess that he took a greater interest in resolving customer problems with his more open door policy.
If I take look at the present Vodacom contact channels such as Twitter, Customer Care via Email or Telephone and My Broadband Forums excellently run by VodacomData, Jannievanzyl and Ocleroux assisting customers with their problems. In those years we did have all these contact channels to resolve our problems. A special thank you to VodacomData, Jannievanzyl and Ocleroux for their unselfish and dedicated assistance. Mr Uys thank you for allowing these staff members to assist, this is highly appreciated.
I make exclusive use of mobile broadband access for home and business having tried all the other networks, after careful comparative efficiency tests Vodacom was the most consistent of good service and data speeds in most metro or smaller towns, enabling myself to supply top class service to my clients without dropping my head in shame for the poor performance of Vodacom. This more than I can say about the other networks.
I am expecting that the “Trolls” will try and run me over now but before you do allow me to draw to your attention the definition TROLL. In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion. The noun troll may refer to the provocative message itself, as in: "That was an excellent troll you posted". Reference Wikipedia.
No I do not have a single share in Vodacom and was not bribed to write this posting. I only applied my mind before complaining, combined with a proper written letter of complaint that enabled the complaint to follow through the levels of management in Vodacom.
Vodacom thank you
Those with similar good experiences let this roll.
