Google HUD glasses have been spotted

O, so there are no actual spots on the glasses? ;)

This sounds like the stuff from the tv series Beyond 2000. Best show ever!

Hell yes, imagine the face recognition built in too bringing up people's social networking data as they walk by and perhaps a rating on personality, quirks and so on. Kinda scary too, but definitely where this will be going.

I used to love watching that show when I was a kid!! Wish it was still on, best tech show ever!

LOL - instant personality matches/couples :D :D ( hmmmmmm wait a minute - FB dta can still be faked :P)

still would be awesome - i am just not sure how they plan to control it?

Eye movement, like look up for select or something like that? Maybe a series of blinks would work - ironic to use a form of Morse code to speak to the Google Goggles:D

On the profiling of people, sure it could find each data set (FB, G+, Linkedin, etc) and verify data across fields and then compare for accuracy or something in that line. Sure it will still be possible to fake, but it could be pretty interesting. Crappy part is it again leads to selective information, one of my pet peeves of customised searching in all the current forms. To get all Big Brother on you, China or USA could for example track people using this or could push certain info - corporates definitely would (can you see the FB and Google Ads running in your field of vision permanently already!!)
