So, Sennheiser PC-360 are basically HD555's with a mic

Hey all, thought I'd post some pics of the PC-360's. After seeing that they were 50Ohm and similar design to HD5xx, I had my suspicions they were using similar/same drivers to >HD555. Well it turns out the PC-360's are virtually identical to the HD555's, with the addition of a mic and volume control.

Connected to an entry Asus sound card with Dolby Headphone for virtual surround sound, these will blow any crappy Razer/Logitech/Corsair/CM "gaming" headsets away, regardless how many individual speakers they fit in each can. :D

And they will certainly be much better for music, than the PC-350's were.

I am thinking of getting the Antlion mic when I get my BD 770's. Looks more convenient than the zalman clips ons

Sadly, these are a mate's - on my advice, of course. :D And comparing them IRL in terms of design/parts, with HD555's, I came to the understanding in the OP. Have not been able to properly listen to the PC-360's yet.

That looks pretty good, the other option is the Zalman clip-on at about R50. But it doesn't extend, so will pick up more b/g noise.

I use the Logitech G330 around my neck, works perfect and is comfy with the Sennies. Uses behind the head design. http://www.takealot.com/electronics...he-head-gaming-headset-black-and-red,10801889

You don't need to spend that much though if you think my concept is good and want to try. These are the same behind the head design and about R170. Mic quality is apparently the same.

Let me see if I understood that correctly. You use the 330's as a mic on your neck with the Senns on?

I think that is a little to audiophile for me:D
 
I bought them a year ago, excellent buy! Good sound, good overall quality (Sennheiser ftw^^) and apparently from what others tell me excellent mic quality. Paid 149 euros from amazon.de, normal shops it was 200 euros...
