For a change FB (and mxit for that matter) didn't "cause" it.

hence adding the ":/" at the end. Have a go at reading the status updates you receive from your friends, half of mine seem to substitute fullstops with "lol" and don't seem to have a buffer between the first thought that comes to mind and what gets written down. These same types tend to complain about something on FB instead of going outside and doing something about it.

Ergo my "i'm being murdered lol brb" type of reply. :/

I think what they are getting at, is, not every day is Social Media used to summon help - phone are used all the time, I dont think FB is used every day to stop you getting murdered and raped.
