use ram as cache for your hard drive

I know about that but then you have other disadvantages. Ramdisk is cool cause you can go up to 7.5GB/s but then you don't have enough disk space. This will maybe be a better option if you have let's say only 8GB RAM. make a 1GB-2GB cache. SSD you hae the disadvantage of low space when you can just use a 500GB or even 2TB with RAM as cache to improve performance.

I think this will be a good option for people with less money.
