well well....i have bought a phone from an unknown person..i bought because of he asked very little cash for thta.That time i didnt mind...but now i am afraid as i realized that it could be a stolen phone.I dont want to get into any crap.Thats y want to change the IMEI number to get rid of the mental stress...

My friend, the only real and honest way to relieve the "mental stress" is to turn the phone in and have it returned to its rightful owner.
If you go out of your way to trace the owner and give it back you will help to counter the tide of evil washing over our culture. It will also help you change your own life for the better.
Do you have the strength and courage to do the right thing?
And if you can't find the owner, put a hammer through the stolen phone and take it out of circulation - stop the cycle of evil.
Write off the price you paid to school fees, and donate the same amount to a worthy charity.

1. Its illegal according to RICA to change your IMEI number to circumvent Network Blacklisting.
2. You bought a stolen phone, you knew it was was stolen, SO THIS IS ALL ON YOU.
3. No one here will help you with stolen stuff.
As for 2. I am 99% sure you didnt buy it from a friend, but stole it yourself.

What you are trying to do is illegal. You will not get advice on MyBB on how to gyppo the IMEI.
Time for you to return the phone to its owner and straighten your ways.

I hope the phone bricks or breaks.
Even if you can change the imei number, you will probably end up duplicating someone else's imei number. And also the sticker under the battery will have the original imei number.
Mean while.... I hope if it is stolen that the imei is blacklisted.
