Hi there I've run out of documentries to watch so I decided to start this thread where we can put down our favourites and the newer documentries being released of TV. Please keep this to a proper documentry list and not pseudodocumentry entertainment programmes if you know what I mean :D
 
Well, which have you watched? Through The Wormhole, The Story Of Science, The Joy Of Stats etc. are alll good. On the nature side of things, the BBC stuff is always good. Planet Earth, The Frozen Planet, The Human Planet.
 
Ey there is a lot of documentries I've watched, but now I want to watch something on nuclear power. I will put up later what I've watched, I did watch that 3 part series electricity and awe and BBC atom
 
Okay this is what i've watched, btw when I said any documentries I meant strictly science, not war or history (outside of the history of science) or religion ect, anyways what I've watched so far that I can remember:

- Journey to the edge of the universe
- BBC life in the undergrowth by david attenborough
- BBC horizon The nine months that made you
- BBC horizon can we make a sun on earth?
- Carl Sagan's Cosmos (this is a given I think for anyone who is interested in science)
- Hot planet
- NatGeo Inside the living body
- NOVA's power surge
- PBS energy e2
- NOVA's Jewel of the Earth
- People on planet Earth
- The fabric of the cosmos
- The universe series
- Through the wormhole with Morgan Freeman
- Wonders of the Solar system
- James May's Things you need to know about the human body
- A night with the stars by Brian Cox
- BBC Horizon's Seeing stars
- BBC's how science changed our world
- BBC natural world Empire of the desert ants
- BBC's shock, awe and the story of electricity
- BBC's Atom
- The elgant universe
- Discovery Channel's Into the universe with Steven Hawkings

well thats the most important list I can think of any other recommendations ?

yeah I recommend you watch all of those they extremely good
 
Just finished watching BBC's Atom, was very cool. Thanks for the list, going to get some more of these.
 
electricity awe and shock is a 3 part history of the science of electricity, hosted by the same guy that hosted bbc atom

Just finished watching How Science Changed the World, moving on to some Horizon episodes now. I can watch this stuff for hours, so much more entertaining than movies.
 
Probably shouldn't have added Horizon to my Sickbeard library, it's had a new season every year since 1964. This might take a while.
