One can not help but notice the increase in the number of Australian scientists working on "cutting edge" and hi-tech issues. I remember, looong time ago, South Africa too was "up there" with the best. Today . . . SA is burning the books - literally

Another company did a similar procedure last month. Their one is powered by a laser housed in glasses which beams onto the retina, supplying power beyond the lab. I'm trying to understand how this is a world first exactly.
