Hi MyBB

I wasn't exactly 100% pleased when playing Dishonored, for me everything was fine except the visuals, and more importantly the textures, I understand that Arkane Studios had to individually paint each texture to give the game its unique look and art style, but the textures looked way below-par.

So I started to fiddle with the engine's which is pretty easy, since the game is build on Unreal Engine 3 all you have to do is modify the "config" files to your liking. Sadly though there was only a slight improvement, so I installed a SweetFX, a mod for Dishonored , still though not much improvement. So I decided to do add my own settings in SweetFX, and to my delight there were major improvements. Most of which were the sharpened textures and improved texture streaming.

After doing this I added in a few more graphics mods with my own cutom settings, and put it together into a package dubbed, Disfigured. You can see a video of it in action here :

Alternatively you can download Disfigured v1.0.7 here

or view the Setup Guide here

As always your feedback is most welcome :)

I too found the graphics kinda ruined the game for me, It really felt to me the game was messing an atmosphere if I have to compare it to bioshock.

Hm I'll give this a try. I had no problem with the graphics of Dishonored though because the artwork was so impressive and unique. But I'll admit they weren't too sharp especially up close. What a brilliant game though; my vote for game of the year.

I really loved the graphics style. I would regularly walk up close to stuff to see it in more detail. I can really appreciate the artistic elements to it.

Let me know how you found the mod :)
