Google Play Store full access for SA?

So I fired up my new Nexus 7 this morning, to my surprise i could access Apps, Music, Books, Mags, and Movies & TV.

I decided to give it a test and make random purchase of some cheap music and books lo and behold it worked.

I thought SA doesn't have full access to the store, when did things change?

I'm connected to WiFi at work, i haven't tried it over 3G
 
It's the Apple ZA iTunes store which have restrictions?

I have no such restriction(s) with my two Droid devices (nexus fondleslab and samsung i9000 phone)...
 
The full Google Play offering will only be available in the US. Google Play will offer movies, books and Android apps in the U.K. and Canada. In South Africa only the Apps and Games are available, however Movies, Music and Books sadly won’t be. Everywhere else, Google Play will be the new home for Android apps.

As of yesterday after the play store update I got full access too on my nexus 7, galaxy nexus and nexus 4.
Everything shows up; Apps, Music, Books, Mags, and Movies & TV.

I am not using any VPN.

Before root, market was normal SA one, now after the root + Unlock it has full US market access using SA CC to boot. (Bought a Magazine to confirm)

Edit: HA HA, there is a down side to this. Some Apps not available in the the US Market, like VLC

I think after purchasing a nexus 4, 7 or 10 through the USA play store it unlocks the whole USA store for you.
prices are in USD.
Tried downloading a song and book and it worked.

I think you're spot on, whats strange though is that i get full access even on my desktop PC.

I'm using the S3, Play version 3.10.14 and no change - apps only...:(
