They were each promised something like 200mill. Who in their right state of mind would fall for that?

I wonder if this applies...
70. Any person who wilfully interferes with the conveyance of any mail or through whose act or neglect the conveyance of any mail is interfered with, is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine or to imprisonment for a period not exceeding one month for each hour or part of an hour during which the delivery of the mail is deiayed in consequence of any such interference or to both a fine and such imprisonment.
A protected strike, yes. Not this one...I think this applies, but I wonder if a strike would overrule a criminal offence - I somehow doubt it.

Have to love this... they are striking because many of them were scammed by a private individual/s when they were falsely informed that SAPOS had a pension fund surplus. They paid the scammers to 'join' them in an existing court case to claim the supposed surplus.
SAPOS warned them that it was a scam but they would not listen. Now they demand that SAPOS must reimburse them the money scammed from them.
TIA.
Will probably never be named... here is the 'official' mention: http://www.citizen.co.za/citizen/co...etail&pid=334&Strike-disrupts-postal-serviceswho is this individual that scammed them?
It is believed the stayaway has been sparked by rumours Sapo owes employees money.
“It is unfortunate that we have interruptions based on rumours that there are billions of rands due to employees, and that there will be unlawful deductions.
“When we (SAPOS) checked at the High Court, the initial presentation was withdrawn as the case had no merits,” he said.
The PO has a strike? Could anyone tell the diffference?
I am sure anyone who are sending and waiting for parcels can.
Since the 12th of Feb all parcels & post got stuck where they are. No movements. Those who could still find theirs at their post office can get it back, but will lose their money they paid.
Why are ministers not making a fuss about this like they did with farm****ers?
