Samsung Galaxy S4 must be done right

I think the biggest risk is that the phone is not a big change from the S3. Could face the same backlash apple received with their latest phone launches.

No want Galaxy anymore.
Want Nexus please uncle.

I harp on about this all the time these days - but Vanilla Android - makes me happy.
Playing with friends' S3's and the like irritate the hell out of me.
The interface is just all wrong now for me...

I think Samsung wouldn't mind if it gave them the same sales figures as Apple had in Q4 2012...

I do not expect Samsung to change much ito look and feel. Larger screen with narrower bezel. Basically a smaller Note 2 is what I expect. There is not much wrong with the that design that needs changing. It works well. Maybe a bit of texture instead of smooth plastic but not much else.

Sony is onto something much more exciting with the Xperia Z.

I find HTC's Sense UI best of all currently.

Got a chance to play with the HTC One for a bit and it's an amazing phone. Just a bit long for me.

Will most likely end up getting an Xperia Z.

Iooks pretty boring to be honest, they are becoming like apple making small changes it seems.
Its a cross between a note 2 and an s3.

And besides most people will find it large, the htc one seems to be the phone of 2013, Apple build quality with android features and a reasonable sized full hd display with great contrast.Lets just hope they can make it available properly!

That's the one I'm waiting patiently for news re a South African release. I have a SGS (i9000) and I need a break from Samsung for a while.
