Hello everyone, I have this big problem with my PC,what happened was my pc never shut down properly and it went into startup recovery. It was checking for/attempting to fix errors but it was taking very long. So what did I do? I rebooted the pc.

Now the Nvidia Display driver keeps on crashing every 5min (but it recovers) and the whole system is unstable.

Ive booted in safe mode to uninstall the driver, then reinstall it, same issue.

Win7 x64 Ult

Any help will be appreciated.

Does your graphic display card not have an extra power plug point if so connect this it may be power related
sometimes better to load the driver from the WEB site Windows can get it wrong on selection upgrade.

Should of gotten a SSD. :p

I just found a suspicious process called iehighutil.exe in the task manager, so I googled it and apparently its a nasty bit of code that crashes the GPU driver for Bitcoin use?

I killed the process, went into temp and deleted the bugger, and removed it from the start up list and every thing is perfect.
