Sophisticated government spying software which is sold by UK-based company Gamma International is being used by more and more countries to monitor dissidents, journalists and human rights activists a report from a Canadian University has found.

The report, called For Their Eyes Only: The Commercialization of Digital Spying was produced by Citizen Lab, a research project that is part of the University of Toronto's Munk School of Global Affairs.

Anyone know the IP's of the SA Monitor and Control Servers ? ( I wonder if AfriNIC knows ? )

I wonder if a quick entry in the hosts file would help ?

Perhaps the ABSA and MTN "hackers" actually work for the state and use this software for getting all the bank and GSM data and passwords ?

EVERYTHING in this kuntry is corrupt and up for sale

So how do you know if your infected with it or not?

I didnt know that midnightwizard was going to **** up this thread with his dementia. /sigh

Dude, this is serious stuff. I can guarantee you that you have no reason to be worried. You need medication, not government spyware.

Why the heck would Afrinic know what the government IPs used for this are? They dont keep a file of all the nice IP`s and all the naughty IPs.
