Google+ gets interface enhancements, and Hangouts gets free app

Looks great. I'm especially excited about the new hangouts app, as it is available on all major platforms, including computers and tablets (unlike Whatsapp). Closing a messaging system to some devices eventually kills it. Whatsapp beat BBM because it was open to a range of ecosystems. If you ask me, its time Whatsapp open up to tablets and all computers if it wish to survive in the long run.

Massive step in the right direction to make G+ a lot more attractive.
 
New Hangouts is just GTalk renamed?

I went to download it and was told it is installed already "Hangout (replaces Talk)"
