Bonginkosi Ngubane is currently in the position of Lieutenant General responsible for Technology Management Services (TMS) at the South African Police Service.
Before joining the SAPS in April 2012, Lieutenant General Ngubane was among others, CEO at a Management Consulting Firm. He was also employed by SITA as Manager in the office of the CEO.
Having been in the IT industry for 20 years, he has experience in Software Development, Systems Analysis & Design, Systems Management, Project Management, Systems Architecture (large & distributed), IT Strategy, industry solutions and networking.
Lieutenant General Ngubane is currently a member of the Black Information Technology Forum (BITF) and the South African Communications Forum (SACF).
