Samsung Tab 2 7inch - Toddler proof?

The R1500 special from Takealot refers..... Thinking about buying it as a toy for me but also for my 2 year old daughter to play games on during car journeys and flights as well as loading episodes of her favourite kiddies shows on.

We are going to Kruger for a week next month and I think this may keep her occupied on the plane and during drives through the park.

Just how much abuse can that screen handle though? I am worried she will destroy it on the first day!
 
My 2yr son will destroy that!

Maybe when his 4yrs+ i'll give him a tablet.
 
Mine constantly plays with my Tab 2, 10 inch. But its in a decent case, and I put it on my home insurance.
I just keep an eye on him to make sure he's not trying to hammer stuff into it, draw on it with crayon, feed it to my minature Ridgeback, float it in the bath, flush it, hit his sister with it, use it to summon the elder god Chtulhu
(Everything except the last one has happened)

Youngest daughter is almost 7 months old. We loaded some kiddy music stuff on the iPad, she just goes at it hammer and tongs :D

LOL . Mine has two tablets to play with, and both are "MINE!!!" . So when he's in the mood, neither me or my wife are allowed to use a tablet
