Following from my previous thread (the one about Telkom's Customer Helpline and the supposedly stolen cables in my area).


Sent a PM to TelkomZA on MyBB, he or one of his representatives phoned me today at 1pm, and at 4pm my line was up and running. So he managed to get the job done in 3 hours; a job that their Customer Helpline couldn't even give me a progress report on for 4 days, and the information they gave was wrong.

Telkom Customer Helpline told me there was cable theft in my area. Turns out there was a small little wire faulty within our complex. No cable theft whatsoever in our area according to the Telkom technician that was here.

So in short: Telkom Customer Helpline needs some SERIOUS addressing.

But now we have TelkomZA on here which already proven VERY helpful within his first week on MyBB.


A hearty thank you TelkomZA. Really appreciate your efforts.

(Expect millions of PM's now from everybody on MyBB with Telkom problems) :D
 
I'm glad to hear this. Thank you to the Telkom Rep. Hopefully if I ever have another ADSL issue he is still around and we don't chase him away.

I couldn't agree more. They should do some serious cleaning up in that call center and fire all the useless sods that don't want to even speak to you.

They should be able to trace which call centre operator took your call and fed you this BS.

IMO that operator should be booted out.
 
See this is what happens when people want to work, not just sit around and expect to get paid. Like half of SA.
 
Man, I would take this rep any day of the week compared to the poephols I'm dealing with ........ 5 different calls over the weekend from different people who were not aware of what was going on with my fault. One even told me I'm a liar because she is speaking to me on the phone so how can it be down, lol.

Big ups to people at Telkom who actually do their best, like the rep.
