Vodacom 20GB from 499 to 999

OMGoodness!!!! what a ripoff!!! from R499 for 20GB to R999 double the price. When is this ripoff's going to stop????
Vodacom please explain your self's???

I mean if you live in a area where you can't get ADSL or any outer reception except Vodacom the R499 for 20GB data was awesome but really R999 for 20GB data that's 1 big ripoff.

I think ppl must start grouping up and start demanding on what we want. if you take out a loan the banks will demand everything from you and if you don't give you don't get.

Please count me in if you need ppl to stand in front of Vodacom I'll be very happy to hold my sign up and do the dance.
 
Don't go with Vodacom. Just asking for trouble. Very good service, but it's kinda like bending over and asking for it to buy data from them...

No offence, but R50 a gig for cellular data doesn't seem that bad.

That R499 for 20Giogs was only a promo anyway.

if you want cheap data get CellC or Telkom mobile.

Yes R50 a gig is not that bad, but how many of us can afford to pay R999 every 30 days for data. I may consider paying R999 for the bundle if it lasted longer, maybe two or three months. (Or more)

Like the op said, many of us have no alternative than using Vodacom.

Yeah now that they've bumped up the price the ought to also stretch the validity window to at least two months. The fact that the balance on the thing can't be checked without a phone or gingg's tool is bad enough. You could sleep and lose a few gigs to expiry

In the uk I've still got a contract that had unlimited data, unlimited SMS and 900 minutes for only £30 per month... Oh how I miss the uk
 
I think the drastic increase from R499 to R999 really threw everyone off their seats. R50 per GB isn't too bad for mobile data but the drastic increase....really sucks.

I which ppl will read before they reply to a tread. The OP clearly stated he can only get vodacom reception.
