So Sanral are on the PR and marketing offensive lying through their teeth to all of us. I recently proved that they were lying and in doing so proved that the system is not financially viable either. See here - http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthr...ing-Thread?p=11280341&viewfull=1#post11280341
But now let's have a look at the realities for all of us. Go ahead and calculate the actual cost per month for you to have the privilege of using our own roads - http://tollcalc.sanral.co.za/etoll/
For me, it is likely to cost around R1890 per month according to their calculator, made up of R1100 business and nearly R800 personal costs.
So when Sanral say that 83% of the road users are going to pay less than R100 per month, I'd like to know by what extent Sanral are now lying, in relation to their own actual numbers.
Post your Sanral poverty score here...
Update:
So from 19 respondents, the average is R711,90. Of which 89.5% of respondents so far will be paying more than R100 per month.
Sanral claim that 82% of road users will pay less than R100 per month. Let's set the ASA on them.
Please keep posting your results and once we reach 100 legitimate responses, I will begin drafting an ASA complaint...
