How does one disable to talkback feature in the Samsung Galaxy S3

Hi there

My sister is taking over her daughter's Samsung Galaxy S3.

Somewhere in the process of transferring data she has activated the talkback feature and cannot get out of it.

We have googled and it says to go into setting and disable talkback under accessibility and if that doesn't help to go into language and input and check if "driving mode" is enabled, but for some reason she cannot get into the menu button to go into settings....

Any advice please?
 
Hello,

On the homescreen press the menu button.
when you see settings, double tap on it.
once in settings, find accessibility.
If you do not see accessibility,
use 2fingers, and slide them up from the bottom of the screen to show the other items.
once you find accessibility, double tap.
then under services you see talkback. Double tap on it.
On the top right corner you should see an on button. Double tap on it.
It should then ask whether you want to disable talkback.
choose ok.

Thanks we had wanted to do the above, but the phone was stuck and she could not get into the menu to go to the settings option, and she could not even turn the phone off. She had to eventually take the battery out for a hard reboot, and then still had problems, but eventually got it right
