There's another charge they can add to this: holding the owner of a vehicle accountable for charges incurred by the driver which the owner can have no way of controlling. This is a common case: I drive a vehicle registered to my wife. I do not listen to her when she speaks about where I should and should not drive. Sanral says this is her fault, and she must anticipate whatever this leads to, and spend time on the phone trying fruitlessly to hold her irresponsible husband liable for whatever it is that Sanral thinks they are doing.

It was a submission to the public protector on citizen's behalf.

In a comprehensive 10,000 word complaint lodged with the Office of the Public Protector on behalf of citizens, Outa consultant and spokesperson John Clarke accuses Sanral of breaching no less than seven of the entrenched human rights contained in Chapter Two of the Constitution.
