Not sure how else to explain this, but whenever the Huawei P6 connects to my TP-Link W8970 the entire Wi-Fi network comes to a halt. I can barely open the router page, let alone anything on the internet. I've confirmed that it is the P6 causing this. The second I switch off Wi-Fi on the P6 everything returns to normal. Switch it back on and the network freezes.
I've tried to assign a static IP to the P6 from the router to determine whether it's an IP address conflict but that hasn't helped, and it wasn't conflicting with anything else on the network. I don't know what else to try here. I switched off Wi-Fi optimisation on the P6 but that made no difference.
I'm wary to flash new firmware to the device as I only have experience rooting and flashing with Samsungs. I think the current firmware is B119 if it's the last 4 digits of the build number that indicate the firmware version...
