Amazon unveils Fire TV to rival Apple, Roku

Looks great, but it's the gaming that looks to be the.. (cough)... game changer.

LOL, I am finalizing my next shipment from the USA. I can have this baby here in 2-3 weeks, LOL! Soooooo tempting

AVI's no, they're mostly encoded with Xvid/DivX.

MKV's yes if they contain H.264 or MP4 video streams and a supported audio stream.

Knowing Amazon this device is going to be pushed incredible hard. If postbox-courier weren't offline, I'd buy one right now.

Apple is going to have to do something big with their next ATV. Their current offering is starting to look very stale compared to the competition.

I'm quite confident it's been in development for a few years; but like everything Apple does it'll remain a secret until they're ready to launch it.
