Regarding the recent 12 Cores, 16 GB RAM, 50 GB Disk Space for only R299 post.

Guys, when you sign up with "cloud" providers please be vigilant and check what specs they are advertising. There are many sharks out there wanting to prey on you!

* The above poster advertised E5660 hardware with 1600Mhz RAM.
Intels specs (which you can get with a quick Google search) shows the E5660 only supports up to 1333

* The poster then offered 32 cores to trial clients, which sounded odd...
And yes .... the E5660 only supports single and dual configurations, it is not possible to have more than 2 in a machine, definitely not possible to give anyone 32 cores based on this hardware configuration.

* The above poster then claimed that he is actually using 8 x E3-12XX cpu's
Again, Intels specs disagree with this... the maximum number of E3-12XX's you can have configured is 2.
What is more interesting is he claimed 64Gb RAM, the E3-12XX's support up to 32Gb.

It is very easy for people to rip you off.
1. Hypervisors like KVM can simulate CPUs and any number of them, regardless of how many physical CPUs are present (or cores)
2. Hypervisors can also lie about how much RAM your are assigned and use files to store RAM contents on large fast backing devices
3. Hypervisors can use memory ballooning so you can overcommit RAM to virtual machines when you don't have it available (this is relatively normal though, many hosts overcommit 10-50%)
4. Too good to be true offers are most of the time too good to be true

Here is a more complete screenshot that I made using KVM on my LAPTOP, which only has 1 CPU and 8Gb RAM!

Always ask the advertiser what backing hardware they are using, CPU models, motherboards, RAM. Surely if they bought it or rent it, they know EXACTLY what they have ;)

I knew the post was BS, hence I didn't even comment.
My cloud provider is Amazon AWS. Don't trust anybody/anything else.

AWS is not bad. The free tier though is quite heavily contended and you can generally see how much by the "steal" cpu time in top , seen very few people with issues when they properly plan their capacity :)

On another side note:
Unless you're buying guaranteed sole use of cores (not many even offer this) and not contended/shared cores, you must understand you cannot expect to be the only one using CPU resources. Most providers state that a vCPU is generally 1Ghz somewhere in their contract/tos.

Its not a problem for me because I am NOT on a free tier! I am paying monthly.

Believe it or not quite a number of people moan about performance on the free tier expecting it to be faster than a dedicated server just because its "cloud"... /o\

Which post had these offers in?

I host my cloud stuff at DigitalOcean and Linode. Never had a days problem.

When I had a free tier, I got a lot done with it, never had a day's issues.
And yes I knew what the limitations were.

If I'm not mistaken some of the MYBB members actually trialed this offer and it was a good product.

The facts of the matter still remain, you cannot provision a product like that on the hardware that was claimed to of been used.

I'm not sure about you, but when someone claims I can have 32 cores (no matter what the price) and the server hardware only has 8 physically (assuming two 4 core CPU's in this case) .... it makes me mad :)

Furthermore when one claims you can clock RAM at 1600 on a CPU where its clearly not possible ... not sure how that makes you feel, make me mad and I feel people should be made aware that these claims are false.

And you still carry on to Talk rubbis. Next time try the service before you make false accusations. If you carry on to make defamatory statements, Please post your cellphone number as well so my lawyers can have a word with you.

You simply do not get it do you

Scammers abound making false claims catching out people not really aware of simple spec's. ;)

Come on, you could use a better host than iomarthosting.com for Allworldit.com

He called you out to be a fake but you have not proved him wrong yet, instead you post this?

Why were your threads removed?

It's obvious not? He cannot back up his claims. The real question is, why is he not banned?

Neither your company nor your name have been besmirched, so not sure what you're going to achieve through lawyers other than wasting your own money. In addition, this is supposedly spare capacity that you have, so why the fuss?

Moreover, can you please once and for all confirm the specs (not just post them, but actually confirm them) for the forum.

Right now your MO comes across as identical to Brian Gibello/Brian Batista...

Lol, to be honest. I'm not really to phased about this post, besides defaming me on Mybroadband which is a little annoying, considering I'm new But hey. Life has douche bags. Ok, so I'll post as many pictures of my System Specs of the servers.

Enough Proof... Or must I carry on going?
As you can see we have a couple different cpus in different servers and vms. Anything else you would like me to submit?

To nkawit:

Regarding the last thread, you could have asked me for a trial server to see for yourself before saying outright that it is a fake or it is bs. I can provide you with a trial server, where you can run multiple stress testing programs to see how many cores etc are on the server, you can then re-evaluate your comment regarding the service.
