Hi Everyone :)

A friend of mine and myself are running an outreach program where we collect old/unwanted/broken computers (towers, screens, parts, printers etc) with the intention of repairing them or sourcing them for parts to complete other builds.

All the computers that are repaired are donates to deserving people in and around communities.

We run this little personal outreach program on our own student budgets, never accepting any money.

We normally spend about 2-3 months collecting as much as we can before we dedicate a weekend towards fixing and building what we can. Everything that is repaired is donated to deserving people :)

If you have any old parts/computers/printers etc that you would be willing to donate, I would be more than happy to come collect them anywhere in Gauteng :)

Very interesting concept you have going there, hope you get some support.

I have a few old pc's and parts, but unfortunately not in joburg :(

(I will do the same if I manage to go down to Cape Town)

So far our project has been doing pretty decently with the support of a couple of people from other forums as well.

It's a nice way for us to do some good.

I don't know if my original post was clear enough, I am assuming it wasn't :P

Everything (and I mean everything) that is rebuilt and repair is donated to deserving people that can utilize it do more good :)
 
I will donate a couple of laptops.

And a few computer parts.

I have a few old things lying around - condition unknown. This coming week is a mess but the following one LOOKS clear. I can meet you in Auckland Park. I will PM once I have everything together and can commit to a time.
