JOHANNESBURG - Police say a security guard has been wounded in a shooting at the Netcare Linksfield Hospital in northern Johannesburg.
It’s understood the guard was collecting money in the reception of the hospital area when he was attacked by two gunmen.
The police's Lungelo Dlamini says, “They shot at him and took a cash box with an undisclosed amount of money.”

Police have cordoned off an area outside the main entrance to the hospital after a firearm was found on a nearby street.
The guard was treated on the scene and no one else was hurt.
Netcare says its business as usual at the facility, but adds its security at the facility will be reviewed.
Police are still on the scene and a search is underway for the two gunmen.
