Following a United Nations report into North Korean human rights abuses which found they had committed unparalleled human rights violations, North Korea has released its own report. Astonishingly, North Korea’s Association for Human Rights Studies found things were pretty much fine.

You can see the 50,000+ word report here. The Washington Post notes it’s basically a lengthy summary of all the human rights North Koreans enjoy without mentioning, for example, forced labour camps or the fact it is a dictatorship. If you want to know a bit more about human rights violations in North Korea, we recommend this video from Amnesty International about life in North Korea’s prison camps.

If they say things are okay, than I'm sure they are..

You can have a good "laugh" about North Korea when watching the "Vice" videos on Youtube, just search for Vice and North Korea. Its actually "hilariously" sad and depressing whats going on in that coo-coo land of a country..

Well, there you have it....everything is above board....nothing wrong with a few forced labour camps ... as long as they are well run, as they clearly are...I am sure they comply with all the usual international standards, that you would associate with a labour camp...

That painting is disturbing. The level of bull****tery happening over there is very disturbing.
