Probably would have cost takealot an arm and three legs :/

How can chromecast be a top seller on takealot, if one is not able to purchase it form the site ?

Girls Kitchen Workbench, this is sexist

Well, yeah, actually it is.

It doesn't say "Boys' Construction Set" does it?

Why is it necessary to prefix the word "Girls" (not even grammatically correct) to the description?
Wasteful, and could be seen as putting boys off learning to cook.:D

Their daily deals are sometimes  though. Especially when you realise the deal price is just a normal price

I got one of these a while ago from somewhere. Piece of crap. There's going to be a lot of disappointed little faces come xmas day.

Ag I don't think its crap. To be honest I brought a couple because I enjoy building things. To me just the build and tweaking it till it's right was worth the cash I paid. I have 4 different ones. (Not the easiest ones though as they to basic.)

It's so finicky and fiddly to get right - it becomes a chore, and then when it's in operation the rubbishy motor and gearbox are noisy so you can't really leave it on as an ornament. Also, you really just build the design they give you, it's not a customizable thing like one assumes from the marketing BS because they keep comparing it to Lego.

Around the same time I bought a Lego Millenium Falcon which was an awesome build, and although a bit more expensive, it's clear why Lego are now the biggest toy company in the world (they overtook Mattel this year). If you want to build something, they're the 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice. Damn, now I want to buy the Lego Death Star for myself for xmas. Had my eye on that for years.

Edit: but each to their own... the kits are cheap (I got mine from dx.com) and nastily made and the instructions not very clear, which makes the challenge interpreting the engrishy nature and fighting the raw materials that don't act like they should. I don't find that fun, some people obviously do.
